Tony Khan drops rumors of behind-the-scenes issues

All Elite Wrestling had success in its early years as a national promotion for professional wrestling, but the company was not without some criticism. A few former wrestlers who worked in the promotion discussed communication issues behind the scenes, while others expressed their frustration with getting to watch TV time. AEW Dynamite And the AEW Rampage. All of this led to reports of behind-the-scenes issues. Tony Kahn, Head of Promotion, spoke about those reports while he was there Superstar Cross with Josh Martinez this week.

“We have an amazing staff,” Khan opened up about recent behind-the-scenes hiring and moves to improve the talent relations team. “We are very happy with the performances we have had. We have a great team of people. I recently made some upgrades and added to the team. With a new group hopefully the communications will only improve because I can only be in so many places at once and talk to so many people in like This is a great team. I think this will help. Overall, I think we have a really great environment and a great behind the scenes. Overall, it’s been a great summer for us and it’s just going to get better. A lot of the biggest stars in AEW have come out, so it’s been great for us to keep On this spot.Last week, Wednesday night, AEW Dynamite’s number one show in all of cable. This has been the case for six of the past seven weeks. This kind of consistency was thanks to our wrestlers, staff, and most importantly wrestling fans who kept us going.Friday Night Rampage, We put in our best number for a long time, finishing fifth on Friday via cable.”

He continued – “There’s a lot of camaraderie and really good momentum. I can’t get everyone on the show. It’s challenging, in some ways, when you have three hours of TV. I get that, if you’re looking at a competitor who has seven hours of TV, than People at that company are twice as likely to be on TV if you look at it that way. It’s very competitive for locations, but it also means that people have to do their best to maximize the time they spend, wherever it is, whether it’s on TV or Broadcasting, I think our TV show and the engagement we got from the fans and why we’re all so good this year, it’s great to be back on the road last year after performances in a closed state and sometimes empty stadium. Really excited. It’s a big time of the year for AEW with All Out, one of the biggest events on the calendar, and we’re approaching one of our biggest TV events of the year, coming to New York for the AEW Grand Slam.”
